Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga, also known as Anti-Gravity Yoga, combines traditional yoga principles with elements from aerial acrobatics. In this class we use the yoga hammock to help stretch deeper, build upper body and core strength and go in inversions to achieve physical and mental decompression. You will learn to fly, hold and balance in challenging yoga poses, become more flexible, increase joint mobility and decompress the vertebrae of the spine without strain. This class is the most fun whole-body workout. Expect laughter, gaining more confidence in your abilities and discovering all sorts of dormant muscles in your body.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Clear your mind of stress and find yourself in the present moment! This vinyasa-style class is beginner-friendly and focuses on mindful movement and pairing the poses with breathwork. We will begin and end each class with a short meditation and you will leave feeling strong, refreshed, and ready to slay your busy life.

Mantra Yoga

In this class we begin settling into poses while sharing a mantra or affirmation for the session. Mantras like, "I am strong," "I am grounded," or "I let go and surrender" can help maintain our focus and a connection to the state we wish to cultivate during the time on the mat. The postures chosen for this class align with what we try to accomplish in our minds. It's been said that in yoga, Asanas are postures of the body and mantras are postures of the mind.

Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a quicker practice, but equally accessible to everyBODY. In this class you will warm up all the muscles of the body and experience a feeling of freedom in your shoulders, hips, spine while we move faster though poses. It is great for strength training and getting that heart going. You will leave this class “blissed out”, feeling calm but with an extra little skip in your step.

Slow Flow Yoga

This class is great for beginners and more advanced practitioners in the same time. If you are new to Yoga and want to start a practice in a gentle way, learning gradually about what Yoga can do for your body and mind or if you want to add a slower, but deeper way to advance your practice, then this class is for you. Soft music and the relaxing ambiance of the studio will help release tensions and angsts, while building the right energy to finish your weekend and tackle the week ahead.

Our Teachers

I have been teaching yoga classes in this community since 2013. What started as a physical personal practice, has led me to deepen my knowledge and pursue the teaching of Yoga to truly help enhance the lives of others. I became more vibrant, alive and a found a space between the twists turns and folds to heal anxiety and bring clarity for a bigger purpose than I could have ever imagined. I am truly blessed to share my dream and passion for this amazing art and I welcome you to join me on YOUR Journey to better health and happiness.

I discovered the physical benefits of yoga after experiencing a running injury several years ago. Yoga saw me through the healing process, both physically and emotionally. As a high school teacher at Wayland Academy, I wanted to share this wonderful practice with my students, so I enrolled in a RYT 200 hour program called Breathe for Change, which is a training program designed for educators. Those 200 hours were life-changing for me personally and professionally. It is such an honor to be a part of the Elevated Yoga team!

For my first time ever taking yoga, this feels like the perfect place to learn. It has a very welcoming feel, and very relaxed atmosphere. I was so nervous but that eased up pretty fast. I am looking forward to taking more classes! Highly recommend.

This was so much fun. it was a light hearted hard working class. the support and caring from the whole class got me to do things I didn't think I could. the teacher was so supportive and kind. she urged us to do our best while showing us step by step to achieve our best.

My Wife and I have been several times and always get a good workout and have a great time in the process. I highly recommend the couple’s yoga if you have the opportunity, but all the sessions are great.
