Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative practice, also called ‘yogic sleep’.
Relieving stress and tension, healing insomnia, improving performance and tuning in to your inner wisdom are only some of the benefits of regular yoga nidra. It is practiced lying down, eyes closed, as your instructor guides you through a systematic release of the ‘fight or flight’ mind and helps you access a state of ‘rest and digest’.
The active mind focuses so much on thinking and doing. With yoga nidra, you get a chance to sink into being and feeling. There you can integrate your busy life, harness the power of the subconscious mind and align your intentions with how you actually show up in life and on the mat.
This is a special “A Trip Around the Moon” Yoga Nidra that will start with a series of three Moon Salutations.
The Full moon happens every 29.5 days. The moon then appears fully illuminated from our perspective. With this nidra we will paint a picture of our own travels around this earth and to the moon. During this time of the full moon is completely sunlit. We will welcome in this light strength and curiosity.
