Analyzing our thoughts…
Our Nidra in this session will concentrate on analyzing our thoughts in our daily lives. We all feel many emotions from happy, excited to anger, sadness even anxious and depression. We will discover how to pull from our thoughts in all situations to improve how we feel. The most helpful thing that we can do is to change any unhelpful thoughts to those that will help in the situation.
Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative practice, also called ‘yogic sleep’.
Relieving stress and tension, healing insomnia, improving performance and tuning in to your inner wisdom are only some of the benefits of regular yoga nidra. It is practiced lying down, eyes closed, as your instructor guides you through a systematic release of the ‘fight or flight’ mind and helps you access a state of ‘rest and digest’.
The active mind focuses so much on thinking and doing. With yoga nidra, you get a chance to sink into being and feeling. There you can integrate your busy life, harness the power of the subconscious mind and align your intentions with how you actually show up in life and on the mat.
